Journey Four / Chapter 18

Deep South

October 2021

Driving down through the Southeastern US - From North and South Carolina through Great Smoky Mountains and Georgia, Alabama, Florida to New Orleans in Louisiana.

From Charleston, SC, known for its cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages and pastel antebellum houses in the elegant French Quarter and Battery districts, we head to the Great Smoky Mountains, a famous mountain range rising along the Tennessee–North Carolina border in the southeastern United States.

After spending few days in the mountains, we head dead down south through the largest southern city of Atlanta (Georgia) and Montgomery (Alabama), a city known for Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King. With a little beach stopover in the very west of Florida we finally arrive to the city of desires: New Orleans (Lousiana).
